Gastronomy

Andorra's gastronomy is very much a product of its environment and the surrounding mountains. Characterised by the continuity of its traditions, one of its most typical dishes is "vianda", also known as "escudella".

Over the years, the cuisine has gradually become more refined, but without losing the true essence of mountain-style cooking, which explains why you'll find the typical "trinxat" (mashed potatoes, cabbage and bacon) in restaurants, but with the signature touch of each individual chef.

At our restaurant, you'll find the most traditional cuisine at Restaurant Sol i Neu Club Hermitage, where the chefs work with local products, adapting them to new tastes, with offers like pigeon and rice, house-made patés or exquisite "trinxat".
